Im Finnland-Institut in Deutschland in Berlin gibt es bald Jubiläum, 25 Jahre alt wird das Institut (2019). Und ich war da als alles in der Alten-Meierei organisiert wurde. Die Alte-Meierei, das Institut war damals da. Später gegenüber dem Bahnhof Friedrichstrasse. Und jetzt an der Friedrichstrasse, also um die Ecke...Also hier.
Während mehr oder weniger 3-4 Wochen lang habt ihr jetzt die Möglichkeit meine Erinnerungen während meiner Zeit in Berlin vor 25 Jahren studieren, als auch während der letzten 20 Jahren. Und dann in Deutschland und in der Schweiz, möglichherwise auch in Österreich. Und es hat viele Abenteuer gegeben, sowohl dienstlicher als auch kultureller Art. Das könnt ihr glauben, wenn ihr nur das glauben wollt...
No niin, tiedossa muisteloja, muisteloja... 25-vuoden takaa ja ajalta, kun menin uunituoreena "CIMO-agenttina" Berliiniin hommailemaan. Siihen vastaperustettuun Suomen Saksan -Instituuttiin. Unelmajobbi ja hieno mahdollisuus kerätä eväitä tulevalle työuralle. Niin, ammatillisia ja kulturelleja seikkailuja 25-vuoden ajalta, niin Saksasta kuin Sveitsistäkin, ja ehkä myös hiukkasen Itävallasta.

Que sera sera...whatever will be, will be...In the words of the well-known Doris Day song...Apropós, have you noticed that Doris Day is still alive, and is of honorable 90 years old...Please listen to this song of nostalgic kind, and very educational one too....As Finland is known for its education and pedagogical ways...So, adventures of professional kind will be heard and read...as well as a culture boost. Believe or not. Finnish cultural Institute in Berlin will be soon 20 years old, and that we celebrate. Of course! Follow me during 3-4 weeks time. I will tell you everything, or almost everything. Up to that you will hear some interesting memories from the past 20 years. Those nice professional and cultural mementos - from Germany, Switzerland, and maybe from Austria too...
